Gustav Hindér, Sweden, and Hilda Kukonlehto, Finland, the winners in the sprint competition in 2025’s first World Cup race

Gustav Hindér (SWE), second from the left in the picture, won today’s sprint race, Saturday May 17 at Larsmo Sport Park, Finland. 18 seconds later came Mikko Hölsö (FIN), first to the left, and third was Felix Persson (SWE), third from the left, 57 seconds after Gustav Hindér. In fourth place was Tapio Perä (FIN), in fifth was Antti Iivari (FIN), and in sixth place was Pontus Fred (FIN).

In the women’s class won Hilda Kukonlehto (FIN), second from the left in the picture. Second was Katariina Nurmo (FIN), first to the left, 22 second behind. Third came Karin Stenback (Sweden), 2:59 behind Hilda Kukonlehto. In fourth place came Marie Fred (FIN), in fifth was Mari Tuokko (FIN), not present, and in sixth place came Nella Keskinen (FIN).
